Please tell us about your company.
Sahara Systems was incorporated with the sole aim of providing our clients with information technology solutions. Sahara Systems offers our clients an opportunity to exploit overseas software and hardware resources. Prior to implementation of such solutions, it is important that an organization is structured in a conducive manner. With a head office in Japan, Sahara Systems is easily accessible to our clients in these overseas locations, providing them with a sense of security and ensuring better coordination.

What positions are open, and what are the qualifications?
Sahara Systems is seeking: 1) Unix (Solaris) Systems Administrators; 2) NT Systems Administrators; 3) Developers with experience in C++, Java, Perl and basic knowledge of Sybase or Oracle; 4) Developers with experience in FIX/TSE (Tokyo Stock Exchange); and 5) DBA (Sybase). Candidates must be 2-year college or university graduates. Japanese ability is always a plus. Successful candidates will have a chance to work at one of the sites of our prestigious clients.


Can you mention salaries and benefits?
Salaries depend on a candidate’s experience and are open to negotiation. All nationalities are welcome, and we will sponsor working visas. Employees also receive Japanese insurance benefits such as employment health insurance, employee pension insurance, and unemployment insurance.


Any plans for the future?
We have set a humble yet ambitious goal for Sahara Systems. On the one hand we want to make Sahara Systems an institution to be reckoned with in terms of high-quality manpower and service delivery in the IT sector in Tokyo. On the other hand, we plan to globalize our endeavors by expanding our branch offices in Shanghai and Singapore and venturing into new territories like computer education and hardware. Additionally, we have plans to open offices in the Philippines and the US.
